Delightful recently converted
eighteenth century barn tucked away on the edge of Bodmin Moor near
the award-winning village of St Neot in East Cornwall.
The detached barn belongs to an ancient
farmstead, parts of which are believed to be eight hundred years
old. There are 18 acres to explore, including a stream and a
bluebell wood. Wild daffodils and primroses abound in spring and
the stars fill the sky at night.
The barn is reverse design, giving wonderful
views over the farm fields at the front, and with french windows
leading to the private garden with barbecue at the back. Stairs lead
down to two bedrooms, one twin and one double, and a bathroom with a
shower and a bath. It is lovely and cosy in winter, with a wood
burning stove and full central heating, flat screen
digital television, dvds, books and games, plus a washer-drier so
that you don't have to pack too much.
